If you've just arrived in Montreal and want an overview of the city before exploring it on your own, or if you have only a day or two in the city, this 5 to 6 hours walking tour will be perfect. The Grand Tour will take you into many different areas and atmosphere with a really relax approach.

Visit a part of the downtown, of Saint-Catherine street and the surrounding. Watch the architecture of the International quarter. Discover the western and less touristic part of Old Montreal and where Montreal began. Go through the Chinatown. Then follow your guide in its inpiration of the day. You could go into the Quartier des spectacles, the former red light, the Quartier Latin or in the Village and see some hidden places of an old worker's areas. Then walk through small street and alleys of the Plateau. And why not finish it around a pint in a good brewpub?

Through all those areas, you'll see the variety that makes Montreal a great place to live.
